Kanye West Forced To Cancel Surprise Concert After Thousands Filled The Streets & Caused A Near Riot

On Sunday, Kanye West took to Twitter to announce that he'd be doing a secret concert at Webster Hall after his appearance at the Governors Ball got canceled due to poor weather conditions. Awesome, right?

NOPE. In fact, the East Village in NYC descended into near chaos as thousands of fans flooded the streets in order to get into the Famous rapper's surprise show. Ye originally made the announcement via his social media after his gig at the Hot 97 Summer Jam earlier in the evening — and decided that the other concert should take place at 2 a.m. Well, that's asking for trouble.

Apparently within the hour of the tweet, Yeezy's show was sold out. However, the scene took a serious turn as the crowd kept growing and growing.

Nonetheless, Kanye made sure to say goodbye to his fans as he drove through the massive crowd with his head sticking out of the top of his vehicle.
Miz Kardashian West later confirmed on her SC that it was the cops that forced her man to call off his gig. She shared:

"Alright guys, we're in bed. We tried… he tried so hard, but it was just bigger, the cops just really wouldn't allow it."

You can't say Kanye doesn't love his fans. We respect the effort, man
