Massive Blaze: 80 firefighters Tackle Huge Fire Engulfing West London Residential Tower Block



A huge fire has ripped through a residential block in west London.

Members of the public and residents were evacuated from buildings in Shepherd's Bush this afternoon as smoke and flames engulfed a tower block.


London Fire Brigade tweeted: 'Eight fire engines have been called to a fire in Shepherd's Bush

This is the scene in Shepherd's Bush, west London, where a fire has ripped through a tower

A spokesman for the fire service said: 'Twelve fire engines and 80 firefighters and officers have been called to a fire in a high rise block of flats on Shepherds Court in Shepherds Bush Green.



'Smoke from the blaze can be seen across the area and 999 control officers have taken over 40 emergency calls to the incident.

The cause of the fire has not been discovered yet.
